About Me

My name is Galit Lipin and I am a graphic designer who owns a design studio.
I have been sculpting for about 15 years.
I create figurative sculptures from clay combined with materials I collect on the street, in nature and on the beach.
In recent years I have mainly sculpted figures of women in an attempt to challenge the modern beauty standards and the conventions of society when it comes to body image.
I like to combine materials and especially enjoy exploring the combination of clay and rust.

I perceive the white clay sculpture as a canvas and use natural colors to draw on it in earth tones.
